The writer's guide to making a digital living was created as part of a transmedia campaign to promote the print publication of the same name. Lycette Bros. was commissioned to produce the video and also an interactive presentation and the print publication itself!
The 'writer's guide' - was obviously inspired in name by "The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" by Douglas Adams. And not surprisingly the 80's TV show formed the basis to the animation, lending largely in terms of the language, the voice over and the animated information graphics.
"In one of the more backwater galaxies of this particular universe, resides the rather unremarkable planet earth...."
